Schwarzer Precision is working determinedly towards the goal of completely climate-neutral production by the year 2030. With the successful "ECOPROFIT®" certification, we have reached an important milestone on our way to a more sustainable future.

ECOPROFIT® ("Ecological Project for Integrated Environmental Technology") is an ecological cooperation project between local authorities and the business community. The main objectives of this measure are the development of an operational environmental management system, the targeted avoidance of CO2 emissions and the conservation of natural resources. The project is based on the "Sustainable Development Goals" of the United Nations. We have integrated this global framework for sustainable and responsible business into our corporate culture.

Schwarzer Precision has been participating in the ECOPROFIT project since March 2022. Supported by trainings and workshops, we identified for 15 months all areas of our company that offered potential for saving valuable resources. With the help of the Ecoprofit experts, optimization measures were defined for each area, which we consistently implemented in the following months.

The project ended in May 2023 with an ecological audit. Our measures were examined and evaluated on the basis of a strict catalog of criteria. The successful environmental management certification and presentation of the certificate took place at the beginning of June. We have thus reached another milestone on our way to climate neutrality by 2030.
