Ökoprofit ("Ecological Project for Integrated Environmental Technology") is a cooperative project between municipalities and regional businesses. The reduction of energy consumption, the conservation of natural resources and the development of a corporate environmental management system are the main objectives of this measure.
In cooperation with the city of Essen, we take part in workshops and training courses on corporate environmental protection. In addition, Ökoprofit experts advise us in our company on the concrete implementation of ecological measures (e.g. environmental policy, energy efficiency, waste management, etc.). This results in an environmental management system that focuses on the latest technologies and optimal organization in a practical manner.
Within 12 months we will implement the jointly developed tasks in our company. The project ends with an ecological audit based on a strict set of criteria and a final environmental management certification. In this way, we are fulfilling our social responsibility as a manufacturing company and at the same time motivating our employees to play an active role in protecting the environment and conserving resources within the company. A win-win situation for everyone: for our customers, for our company and for our common environment.
