Our previous premises in Essen city centre were limiting our potential for expansion. Rather than undertaking further refurbishment, we decided to build a new headquarters. The four-storey new building in the modern M1 business park will primarily benefit our research and development department: our engineers now have four times the floor space at their disposal in the new premises. Additional analysis and test laboratories underpin our ever-increasing quality standards as a technological market leader in high-tech pumps for medical, analytical and environmental technology.
Production and administration will also benefit significantly from the new premises. An optimised workflow and greater capacity for personalised customer support will help to ensure that SP’s customary high standards of quality are maintained in the future.
Light-filled workspaces and a large roof garden provide our employees with a pleasant working environment. And last but not least, the transport links ensure easier access and optimised logistics.
The new headquarters thus fully embodies our motto ‘We care’. The opening is planned for summer 2012.
